Andy Harris (R)

Father, I praise You for the service of Representative Harris to our country. I pray Lord that he will be God-fearing and recognize that he is accountable to You for every decision and action he takes (Proverbs 9:10). I pray that he be granted Your wisdom and knowledge and understanding (James 1:5). I pray that he be presented with the gospel if he does not know You and a loving Christian witness (Romans 10:14). I pray Lord that if he is unsaved, he will be drawn to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and be encouraged and grow in his faith ( 1Timothy 2:24, Ephesians 1:17-23) I pray that he will recognize his own inadequacy and pray and seek Your will (Proverbs 3:5-8). Lord convict him of sin, transgression, and iniquity (Psalm 51:17) and help him to heed his conscience, confess his sin and repent (proverbs 28:13). I pray that you give him a desire to read the bible, attend prayer meetings and bible studies (Psalm 119:11, Colossians 3:2), Lord I pray that he values and regard the 10 commandments and the teachings of Christ (John 8:31-32). Protect his heart and mind and fill him with your joy (Nehemiah 8:10). This I pray in Jesus' Name, Amen

Dear Lord, Please bless Andy and his family. Please give him discernment to do your will and to lead in a according to your commandments. Amen

Dear Lord of All Jesus Christ, Please help this man in all he does, please show him Your Ways and Your Holiness. Please do not let the enemy prevail over him.

Father God, I lift up Representative Andy Harris to you. I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, I pray for Andy Harris to have a reverential fear of You and to always put You first when he is making important decisions for this Country! In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Father, thank You for Dr. Andy Harris and continue to give him a heart of service to his family, his country, and his God. May he continue to seek Your direction as he sets his hand to the plow whether it be in working for farmers, the education system, on behalf of the military, or standing for truth and honesty in the government. Give him courage and strength to continue to stand for accountability in government spending, and give him a voice to speak up for the sanctity of human life and a return to morality in our nation. Dear Father, guide him continuously, and may he be a light shining in the darkness giving praise and honor to Your Name. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
